Improving Your Mood, Exercise, Facing Fears, Music, Relax

“The first few moments of the day are some of the most important as they can determine the mood for the rest of the day.”
Daniel Willey

Sometimes you are just having a really bad day, and you really just need to ‘strangle’ someone. When bad things happen, it is easy to become pessimistic, and not able to appreciate life to it’s fullest.

Cultivating habits that keep you in a good mood is vital.. Replacing sadness with happiness is hard for anyone, but getting a fresh start will help you along the way.

Exercising creates Endorphins, which stimulate creation of the chemical Dopamine, which makes you happy and it will help you stay in shape. Yes it is even harder to go and exercise while in a bad mood but challenging yourself to go and exercise helps

Listening to upbeat, happy music while singing along or dancing will take the anger or sadness right out of you.

Take a hot shower. Picture everything bad washing away. Watch your issues and flaws swirl through the water. Watch them disappear down the drain forever.

Chill. Take deep breaths; relax on a beanbag, whatever calms you down.

Try to do something that scares you (even a little) for example dancing on the street, approaching some cute girl and talking to her. Research has shown that when you do something like that it not only gives you confidence and develops an ‘I don’t care what people think about me’ mentality but also makes your mood better almost instantly.

‘You can choose to be happy or sad and whichever you choose that is what you get. No one is really responsible to make someone else happy.’
Sidney Madwed
